One problem with Recovery is I am always trying to explain what it is. After many years I realize I do not need to fall into explaining Recovery but knowing Recovery is personal and unique for each of us. We can know someone without fully understanding them.
I know my wife and she knows me but we cannot explain each other (Think about this for a moment). Recovery is a relationship with our minds, bodies, and souls. This inward dialogue leads to real-life miracles every day of our lives. We are children of Recovery and therefore heirs to wholeness and peace.
We are called to share our Recovery with everyone we meet. This creates a loving community and relationships. Because of these relationships, the goal is to know our healing and live out Recovery through loving relationships that demonstrates oneness with ourselves and those we are in communion with.
