February 6, 2026 “Faith and Action on the Path of Recovery!”

I hope wherever you are, you know Recovery is with you right where you are.

Recovery requires faith. It also requires the actions we choose to take along the way.

Ann was thinking about healing from childhood trauma and other deep wounds. She felt overwhelmed and did not know where to begin. A friend told her about a man who helps people on this kind of journey and offered to connect them. Ann agreed and welcomed the opportunity.

When Ann spoke with the man, she shared that she wanted to heal. He asked her a simple question:
“Do you believe healing is possible?”

Ann replied, “Most certainly.”

The man explained that healing requires both faith and effort. He encouraged Ann to find a support group, a therapist, and caring peers to walk with her. These are some of the many Recovery activities people can choose, based on their needs. He also invited her to place faith in these supports as a way to grow her spiritual and mental health.

Recovery means staying present through suffering while continuing to show up for support. When we balance faith with Recovery activities, we give ourselves a real chance to heal.

When we believe healing is possible, we can take action even when the outcome is not yet clear. Faith is trusting in what we cannot yet see. As we act, the unseen slowly becomes visible. There may still be pain along the way, but in time, healing brings joy.

So let us share a pact. Let us have faith. By offering our hearts to Recovery and showing up again and again, we can overcome trauma and grow stronger in our spiritual and mental health. 💛
