December 15, 2025 “Coming Home to Recovery!”

I hope wherever you are, you know Recovery is with you—right where you are.

Travel is often heavy during the Christmas season, both on the roads and in the skies. Many of us look forward to being home with family and friends when that is possible.

This season also gives us a chance to bring others home—those who may feel far away from Recovery—or to reconnect ourselves to our program of healing. Whether we are practicing the 12 Steps more intentionally or offering support to a peer, we can always come home to Recovery.

Sometimes the most important trip we take is not across miles, but into our own hearts. It is a return to Recovery and to the people we call family and friends.

Recovery invites us to take this journey.

We do not need a ticket or a reservation—only a willing heart, and sometimes a forgiving one. When we open our hearts, we are met by the open arms of Recovery. This is where healing begins, even from the emotional gridlock in our minds.

This is a beautiful time to invite those living with mental health challenges or substance misuse to come back home.

Recovery has a place for every one of us.

Remember, Recovery is here—right now, in this moment.
Let’s embrace it together.
