Do you ever think it’s strange to imagine Recovery talking to you? We go to therapy, attend support groups, and listen to others share. In these moments, we are really learning to hear the voice of Recovery. The truth is, Recovery wants a relationship with us.
Our conscience is one of the ways Recovery speaks. It meets us right where we are, guiding us through our struggles and daily life. When we take time to listen, we begin to notice Recovery’s voice in people, books, and experiences around us.
We may not hear a loud or booming voice. Instead, Recovery often speaks softly—through beauty, peace, and the quiet spirit within us. In a world filled with noise, the question isn’t if Recovery is speaking, but whether our hearts are open enough to listen.
Listening is the first act of prayer, reflection, and meditation. It’s in that stillness that we begin to recognize Recovery’s voice. We find it in desire—because “those who seek Recovery will find it.” Silence gives space for presence.
The message is simple: we don’t have to strive to hear. We can rest in faith, knowing Recovery is already speaking.
