Fall shows us how leaves change color, fall to the earth, and feed the soil. In the same way, Recovery teaches us to hold on to what nourishes us and to let go of what no longer serves our healing.
Each of us has a unique Recovery path. What strengthens one person may not help another. Some practices work for a season, then lose their power, and that’s okay. Wisdom comes in knowing when to release them and when to try something new.
Staying connected with others in Recovery helps us discover the supports that truly feed our hearts and souls. We are united in our humanity, yet each of us must find the care that is right for us.
Reflection Question:
What is one practice that feeds your Recovery right now?
