I am writing a reflection book for each day of the year and a workbook both tools for Recovery. I would appreciate feedback based on these questions.
1. Should I publish both together or stagger the releases?
2. If you say one at a time what should I publish first?
3. What will motivate you to purchase the reflection book? What would you like covered?
4. What will motivate you to purchase the workbook-self-help guide?
If you email me your answers I will be extremely grateful.
Before entering Recovery my identity was someone who suffered, wanted attention by achievement, people pleaser, depressed, and anxious. Through the grace of Recovery, I am redefining my identity as a son of God, married to a wonderful woman, a father to 3 beautiful women, an author, and continuing ongoing healing from my mental health condition and trauma.
Because of Recovery, this is a depiction of how my life is unfolding for me. During support group meetings, therapy, and speaking with my wife I allow vulnerability to come to the surface which helps me recognize who I am. I have moments when pre-recovery behavior rises once again. It is all about those human tendencies of selfishness contrasted with doing the next right thing. This is sown into the cultivation of peace. The 12-steps give us the strength to fortify our identity.
What was your identity pre-recovery?
What was your identity post-recovery?
I am open to reading your responses to these questions.
