August 26, 2024 What Is Bactein Good For?

Paul was twelve years old. One day he came running into the house with an abrasion on his arm. It was less than a half inch but caused enough pain for him to cry. His mother met him in the kitchen and knew exactly what to do. She told her son she would use an antiseptic spray called bactein. Mom squirted the abrasion a couple of times telling Paul, “This will take the pain away and heal the abrasion”. Paul did not know that the spray bottle was from under the sink and was filled with water. Faith healed him.

People reach out to me with a desire to heal. I often suggest attending the support group I facilitate on Thursday evenings. https://superhumanbeing.net/thursday-zoom-event/ I observe with great joy the healing people experience. It requires initiative on our part to make things happen. We cannot wait for others, a perfect moment, or an easy road to engage our hearts to heal.

Healing involves connecting with people through a support group, therapy, peers, and family. A famous man said, “Be not afraid your faith has healed and saved you”. Such a great hope is offered to us. I remember several years ago during a touching moment when a woman brought me to use the 12 steps to heal. When we ask for healing for others our requests are answered, it may not be what we want but they are answered.

Lives are changed because of our efforts small or large. Paul’s boyhood abrasion will not be healed because of the bactein but the love and care of his mother.
