Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Since its inception in 1949, Mental Health Awareness Month has been a cornerstone of addressing the challenges faced by millions of Americans living with mental health conditions. I had the opportunity to meet Margaret Leonard, owner of Dotters Books 307 South Barstow Eau Claire, WI in the heart of Downtown Eau Claire, WI. My book is on sale at this independently owned bookstore. There may be an opportunity to do an event with her in May. When something materializes I will let you know. I also had the opportunity to meet Lindsey Quinnies, Program/Store Manager at The Local Store at the VolumeOne World Headquarters. The store is located at 205 N. Dewey Street Eau Claire, WI 54703. Finally, I went to Amazon to see how my book sales were coming along. I discovered I am not just a national author. Copies of my book were purchased out of Canada and Germany. I assume that makes me an international author. How cool is that!!
