Tomorrow (September 30, 2023) I will be attending the first ever NAMIWalks (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Wisconsin walk in the Chippewa Valley. I invite you to attend to support this critical social issue. When you decide to attend look for my booth. I will have books available for you to purchase. You can also purchase my book on Amazon by going to my website https://superhumanbeing.net/ Most importantly I want to connect with you, discuss this topic, and answer any questions you may have about mental health conditions and addictions.
Whether you’re part of a team, registered individually, or choose to participate virtually, you’ll be contributing to mental health and playing an active role in improving our state and community. Go to this website for additional information and registration; https://www.namiwalks.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=cms.page&id=3675
Why join NAMIWalks Wisconsin-Chippewa Valley? Great question! When you join our NAMIWalks, you will have the opportunity to promote awareness of mental health and reduce stigma, help raise funds for NAMI’s free, top-rated mental health programs, and most importantly remind people that they are not alone.
The NAMIWalks Chippewa Valley route is a little over one mile with a couple of hills through beautiful Carson Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. You have the choice to walk the route once or repeat it if you would enjoy a longer walk. Remember, it’s not how far we walk at NAMIWalks Wisconsin-Chippewa Valley on September 30, but how far we’ve come to make our milestones count. With your support and high spirits, we intend to make an unprecedented impact on mental health in our community.
Check-in will begin at 9 a.m., and our walk will start at 10 a.m. on September 30. See you there!
