In Recovery, there are periods of building our knowledge and skills and periods of producing new habits. There are periods of great joy and others of great sorrow. Recovery we know that you are reliable in every period of our lives.
When we continue in the way of Recovery, we will not always feel comfortable in our own skin. The path is narrow, sometimes rocky, urging us to set aside our egos for the sake of Recovery. When we choose this path Recovery will penetrate our minds, hearts, and souls with astonishing grace. We need to have faith that this process will strengthen us as we progress through our journey.
Practicing the steps of Recovery will help us see our days clearly. When we are tempted to give up in our exhaustion, you give us the fortitude to keep going. I do cardio exercise three times per week for 35 minutes each session. When I get to 30 minutes I begin to feel exhausted but there is an inner strength that helps me accomplish my goal. I believe my daily practice of Recovery is stretching me to keep going.
Recovery you are better on our best days, and more faithful than a rain shower. We give Recovery today, which is all we have. Please help keep our aim on Recovery when our arrow begins to drift.
Peace
Larry
