I hope wherever you are, you know Recovery is with you right where you are.
Yes, we can be drawn into the second half of our Recovery. Part of its beauty is knowing that we have finished some of the work from the first half. We can move forward when we have endured, learned, and completed the tasks of the stage we are in.
Sometimes, we are carried forward by the quiet and gentle movement of grace. When the time is right, the old tasks may begin to fade. Some may even fall away completely.
All we can do is be present to the moment God has given us. We cannot rush the process. We can only live out each stage of our Recovery with the skills, gifts, and strength we have today.
Then comes the time to surrender.
We surrender because we no longer need to carry the weight of our old suffering. We have learned, grown, and become more free. We can let go of what once held us down.
In God’s time, we can spread our wings and soar like an eagle.
Recovery is not about rushing forward. It is about trusting the journey, receiving grace, and being willing to move when God opens the way.
Remember, Recovery is happening right now, in this moment.
