A spiritual awakening through Recovery is a gentle turning of the heart. When Recovery enters our lives, the darkness begins to lose its hold, not because we fight harder, but because healing light grows within us. This awakening invites us to live in a new way. Through the Twelve Steps, we begin to see, feel, and understand life differently.
This turning is daily and done intentionally by taking action. It invites the light into our fears and wounds. The light does not shame us; it frees us. As we walk in this light, we share love through our words, our actions, and our care
for ourselves and others.
