Totus Tuus is a Latin phrase that means, “Totally yours.” It reminds us to make a wholehearted commitment to Recovery and to the healing journey before us. Today we say to Recovery, “I am totally yours. I am ready to let go of my shortcomings and begin again.”
Recovery is always ready to meet us with open arms. This is a radical act of love. It is a generous gift that is freely given. Deep within our hearts, we long to give ourselves fully to the healing that Recovery offers.
Today, let us offer our whole selves to Recovery through the Twelve Steps. Let us hold nothing back.
