Hope can feel fragile-like building a home with straw; in any moment it could be blown away, leaving us homeless. Actually, hope is more like a home built on top of a cement foundation. For the most part, we have confidence that the foundation will withstand any of nature’s circumstances. Hope that is entrenched in the ground of God’s – Higher Power’s love cannot be torn down.
Recovery is not unstable; It is constant in compassion and kindness. Recovery’s motives are pure as raw honey. As we place our faith in healing, we are never alone, or will we ever be disappointed. Nothing is wasted in our communities; we will find, each day, that hope and support from people are a phone call away.
Recovery stands alone in wisdom and love. Our hearts are connected with Recovery, which assures us of the gift of hope. We don’t need to fear losing hope because Recovery calls us by name, it gives us the might to keep walking with the energy of a young child.
