We live in a world fighting scarcity on several levels-emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually-Recovery freely gives alot of abundance feeling like a foreign concept. Recovery does not give us plenty to survive the moments in our lives, it gives more than we need.
Where we are starving for peace, Recovery grants it freely. Where we need compassion, there it is in plenty. Where our thirst longs for love, there is a lake of kindness flowing toward us. As we receive from Recovery’s generous heart, we begin to act with the same approach to other people. We don’t become a whole version of ourselves by chance; We are filled to the brim with the goodness of Recovery’s healing spirit who renews us.
Recovery is our fortune of mercy, love, and peace. The calculations it uses are not the same as the world’s and for that we are blessed. There is always enough to both receive and give away. Recovery love is full; it is priceless and precious.
