May 22, 2024 You’re Not Broken

What if I told you, “You’re Not Broken.” How would \embracing these words impact your thinking and behavior? Our attitude and actions take on the persona, “Must Be It To See It.”

A higher level of consciousness increases our intelligence. We live a life of an intuitive mindset letting go of trauma. What does this mean?

  1. Let go of our limitations often locked up in our ego.
  2. We trust our intuitive self. Essentially how to be.
  3. Change thoughts into things. Surviving-Thriving is a battle, whatever a child survives they want more of it. I used basketball as my avenue of coping. It became an escape and gave me the recognition I needed to feel pleasure.

Living in the precious present allows us to build a life rather than existing as we did in the past and overly focused on the fantasy of the future.

Fear is important to recognize. When we do not take action on our fears we become controlling. During my time on this earth when fear surfaced I turned to food to gain control of my life. For a long time, I cycled from binging to purging food. I told myself it was better to control my fear of food rather than become a person who controlled others.

When we begin Recovery and throughout our journey remind ourselves:

  1. We are not perfect nor are we broken.
  2. We are good enough where we stand right now.
  3. We belong in this beautiful life and freely participate in activities.
  4. We are significant, offering our talents and skills to other people.

Let’s embrace the fact, “We Are Not Broken.” We love ourselves, we have compassion for ourselves, and we have people in our lives who love and love us.

Peace

Larry
