Sara met with Dawn at the park. Dawn has been in Recovery for several years and is happy, joyful, content, and at peace with herself. Sara said to Dawn, “I want what you have, help me”.
Sara suffered from anxiety, and depression, and wondered if Recovery was worth it. Dawn said, “It sounds like you are searching for Recovery”. Dawn instructed Sara to take a walk around the park and observe the plants, trees, flowers, and animals.
Sara returned in 30 minutes. Dawn said, “How did you feel as you observed the beauty of the park”?
“I felt happy, joyful, content, and at peace”
Dawn said, “Committing to Recovery will lead you to the sweetness of a strawberry and the brightness of a lighthouse”.
Sara buys into what Dawn is sowing. She showers away old habits and embraces the richness of Recovery.
